Acara berlangsung meriah di gedung penuh sejarah itu.<\/p>\n<p>Bang Harris sapaan akrab wawali Kota Bekasi mengungkapkan kolaborasi dan hubungan baik yang terjalin antara Pemerintah daerah dan Insan Pers dapat terus dibina. Diharapkan, insan pers terus menjadi mitra pemerintah.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKita tingkatkan kolaborasi dan sinergitas antara Pemerintah daerah, Pers dan masyarakat,&#8221; kata Wawali Abdul Harris saat menyampaikan sambutan didepan para hadirin yang hadir.<\/p>\n<p>Menurutnya, kerja jurnalis menjadi sudut pandang lain dari pemerintah dalam rangka pembangunan di Kota Bekasi. Pers diharapkan turut serta mengedukasi masyarakat mengenai program pembangunan di Kota Bekasi. Mengingat, di era digital banyak informasi yang beredar dan terkadang diragukan kebenaran informasi tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBersama kita menjaga dari pemberitaan yang menyesatkan atau hoax, berkolaborasi mencerdaskan masyarakat kita dengan pemberitaan yang mengedukasi serta memberikan pencerahan,\u201d ujar wawali Abdul Harris Bobihoe<\/p>\n<p>Sebagai pilar demokrasi, lanjut wawali Abdul Harris Bobihoe, pers menjadi pengawas dan koreksi atas pelaksanaan program pembangunan daerah.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHal tersebut sejalan dengan konsep pembangunan di Kota Bekasi yang mengedepankan prinsip kolaboratif, untuk bersama mewujudkan kota yang nyaman serta sejahtera warga masyarakatnya,\u201dterangnya.<\/p>\n<p>Ia menjelaskan pers diharapkan jadi tulang punggung kehidupan demokrasi di Kota Bekasi. Pers harus berdaya dan bermanfaat bagi masyarakat dan pemerintah daerah. Sekaligus harus mampu mengawal pembangunan daerah.<\/p>\n<p>Menurutnya, pers bukan hanya membuat opini maupun karya jurnalistik.
